May 25 - 29 COVID 19 - School Schedule

The last two weeks of space were so much fun! I'm sure we missed some planets and other topics about space but my son has become very interested in bees as of late and I think its time to learn about these amazing creatures.

Our plants are doing well still and we had to plant them in our garden as they were needing bigger containers and the long range looked not too bad so far. We will definitely still watch what its going to be at night and might have to cover them if its looking like it will be too cool out.

My oldest sons class is growing sunflowers right now so we have also been spending time talking about the life cycle of a seed. We finally have some sprouts on our sunflowers as well and he is really excited about it! His writing has really come along and he is just a reading champion right now. He loves to read books on EPIC as you get points for reading books and move up reading levels. He is so excited that his is at the highest level in his class (even though there are probably only two other kids using the app lol)

My youngest son is really exploring with his vocabulary. I feel like he is saying new words everyday and it is just the best listening to him tell us what he wants and needs. I have been trying to get him to count with me for what feels like forever and he is finally starting to do it!

MOVIE: BEE Movie (I will watch the weather and pick a rainy day this week for us to watch The Bee Movie) We will also have popcorn and other fun snacks to really be a reward for all his hard work and to make it a movie theater like experience.
