June 15 - 19 COVID - 19 School Closure

Last week we had a lot of fun learning about some of the different Big wild Cats that there are. This week my son would like to learn about other African animals so we are heading off on an at home Safari for the week. Next week is the last week of school/home school so I will be planning some fun activities for us to do as well. I have a tie dye kit coming for one of our activities!

This week felt busy! I'm thinking it must have been because of the rainy weather and trying to fit outside time in when it was warmer or the rain stopped as well as balancing and juggling home school/ work school. But we are down to the last two weeks of school and I know it is important to have fun with my at home teaching as well as my home school teaching.

Garden update: Our garden seems to have survived the frost and other cold days/nights we recently had. I'm hoping we have seen the end of the cold nights as I am getting tired of tucking my plants in for the night lol.

My oldest son learned to ride his bike on two wheels last weekend and has really improved throughout the week. I am so proud of his determination and perseverance to tackle that task.

My youngest is just a little chatterbox and I love watching him explore his new found language skills.

Now that some COVID - 19 restrictions have been lifted in our area we were able to go out to my parents house and spend the weekend. It was so fun to be able to get together and celebrate my dads birthday weekend with them.

Next weekend is also Father's day so I will be planning some fun Father's day activities for the boys to try but unfortunately I will not post them as there needs to be a little surprise for my Husband seeing as we already gave him his father's day gift.
